Elite are sponsoring, Ben Reid, 16, an Alpine Performer Skier and FIS Racer.  Ben’s main ski training base is in, Mayrhofen, Austria.

When Ben is in England he uses Elite’s services and facilities.

Ben has a full-time programme of training and competing throughout Europe over the next few years.

Lucy is a 14 year old disability swimmer from Quainton in Bucks. She has an S14 classification for those with learning difficulties. She has been treated by Paul Thawley for sports related injuries.

She swims with Maxwell Swim Club 6 days a week and spends around 9 hours each week in the pool.

Lucy has been swimming for 3 years and started competing in National events in March 2008 where she won 2 bronze and 3 silver medals. At the same competition in March 2009 she came away with 2 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.

She will be swimming in the Multi-disability events at the British Gas ASA National Youth Championships in Sheffield from 28th July to 2nd August 2009 with many of the Beijing Paralympic Team.

Her ambition is to swim on a British Team one day.
