Core Stability Training
| The correct functioning of the deepest abdominal muscle of the body is extremely important for stability of the spine and indeed central stability of the whole body. One muscle in particular called Transversus Abdominus wraps around the abdomen from the spine to the stomach thereby acting as the body’s natural corset or weight belt. |

It is important to train this muscle so that it becomes automatically active in everyday activities. At Elite Physical Medicine we frequently incorporate Core Stability exercises as part of the rehabilitation of many conditions and injuries. |
