Andy McCrea

Director and Chartered Physiotherapist

Andy was a member of the Elite team for five years and has returned to the fold alongside Paul as a Director of the clinic. Originally hailing from Belfast, he qualified in Physiotherapy in 2007 from the University of Hertfordshire. A keen sportsman he played rugby for school, university and Aylesbury 1st XV until ironically a series of injuries ultimately led to his retirement from the game. Andy remains involved with rugby as Physiotherapist for Aylesbury RFC and representative rugby with Bucks County. He is qualified in pitch side trauma and provides risk assessments and medical services for rugby and football festivals.  Andy has also covered match day pitch side physiotherapy for League Two Wycombe Wanderers for home and away games.

He has worked extensively with young athletes, he worked for five years with London SE Schools U16s some of whom have gone on to full international honours. His involvement with these athletes has led to a specialist interest in adolescent growth injuries and he regularly visits schools and clubs to run seminars and screening of young athletes.  His involvement in sport extends to coaching and in 2017 he has completed the ECB “Coaching Children” qualification with Dinton Cricket Club.
