Elite Physical Medicine is a Physiotherapy and sports injury centre. It is staffed with four experienced Chartered Physiotherapists, a Olympic Sports Physician, a Massage Therapist and a Strength and Conditioning Coach / Personal Trainer.
EPM is based in a custom built rehabilitation facility in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and has the latest rehabilitation equipment to facilitate recovery.
We deal with a wide range of neuro musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries.
The clinic has been open since 2007 and has treated a wide variety of patients with differing aches and pains; from sporting heroes like Darren Gough to TV stars like David Walliams and everyone in between.
We have exceptional links with local Consultants within Buckinghamshire with varying areas of expertise. Due to our close working relationship, our clinical staff can refer or seek advice from the most appropriate Consultant if necessary. In many cases we can write to your General practitioner to keep them appraised should you require diagnostic imaging or a referral.
We also look after many local GP’s and their families.
The majority of our patients attend following recommendation, something we are extremely proud of.
Our Mission
Elite Physical Medicine is a concept of care derived from the experience of treating elite international athletes. The philosophy however is not to exclude any patient group, whether you are a patient with low back pain or a high level athlete, your care will be delivered in the same setting by the same skilled and experienced Physiotherapists and Doctors but will be specifically tailored to be relevant to you. We aim to provide a relaxed and friendly yet professional environment to try and make your rehabilitation an enjoyable experience.
All Physiotherapists are Chartered, registered with the Health Professionals Council and involved in continual professional development. We are recognised by all Medical Insurance Companies.

PAUL THAWLEY’s EXCITING NEWS
We are very excited to let you know that Paul Thawley married Leila Johnson on Saturday 12th May, it was a beautiful ceremony and Leila looked stunning (Paul didn’t look too bad either). We hope to get some pictures printed to show everyone. But if you are in the clinic soon, you can enjoy the lovely flowers from the day in reception! The Thawley’s are currently on honeymoon for two weeks and we wish them every happiness!
STAFF CHANGES
We are pleased to introduce Trudi Harris to the team, Trudi will be our new Practice Manager and will be working at the clinic from Wednesday to Fridays.
CLINIC OPENING HOURS
Over the Bank Holidays the Clinic will be open as follows:
Thursday 31st May Open from 9am – 8pm
Monday 4th June Closed
Tuesday 5th June Closed
Thursday 7th June Open 7am – 4pm
Aside from the noted dates, the clinic will be open from 7am week days until 8pm Monday to Thursday and closing at 5pm on Fridays. Saturdays remain the same 8am – 1pm. Please do call the clinic on 01296 437717 to check for availability.

Less than a hundred days until the Olympics and the team are getting involved in the run up! We’re looking forward to seeing Team GB succeeding and winning some more medals.
