About Matt
Matt Murray-Downing is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a passion for helping individuals achieve their optimal physical health and well-being. With a background in sports medicine and rehabilitation, Matt brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to his practice from experience working in some of the most prestigious Physio clinics in London as well as from him experience in world class sport around olympic gymnastics athletes, Formula Motorsport and Football to name a few.
Education and Credentials
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from University of East Anglia, where he developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic techniques. He is a registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) he later went on to further his studies in Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) as well as further education in nutrition and human performance
Professional Experience
Throughout his career, Matt has gained extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including athletes, most notable being Red Bull Formula 1 team and Team GB gymnastics team including 3 time olympic medalist max Whitlock. He also loves to treat weekend warriors, and individuals recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions.
Areas of Expertise
Matt specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a particular focus on sports injuries including extensive treatment of Paediatric conditions, orthopedic conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation. He is proficient in a wide range of manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and therapeutic modalities, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and goals of his clients.

Outside of Work
Matt is a huge petrol head and love to get along to race meets or even his own road trips. He is also currently training for the Austrian 70.3 ironman in September!
