Catrin graduated from King’s College London with a first class honours degree, and was awarded the Jacqueline Rolande Spicer Prize for Best Overall Academic Achievement.

Catrin progressed to a role at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London, gaining experience in musculoskeletal outpatients, as well as treating amputees and patients with neurological conditions.

Working across a wide range of disciplines within the NHS, Catrin now has a breadth of knowledge to draw upon when treating musculoskeletal injuries.

Her passion for rehabilitation stems from personal experience.

Catrin competed as a rower for the West Midlands and won medals at National Championships. She has a deep understanding and appreciation for the hard work and dedication required to perform at a high level, as well as the frustrations that a setback from an injury can bring.

Snow sports expertise

Having recently returned from six months working in the French Alps, Catrin has further honed her love and interest in snow sports. She has always been a keen skier, and has now added snowboarding, monoskiing and ski touring to her list of accomplishments!

Her time on the slopes has enabled Catrin to develop extensive knowledge of the risks associated with snow sports and the importance of injury prevention and rehabilitation. She’s looking forward to applying her expertise as part of Elite’s multidisciplinary team.

Local activities

Catrin is new to the Aylesbury area, and is enjoying exploring the countryside on her road bike. She’s also looking forward to getting back into netball.
