In 2013, Tom graduated from Brunel University with an Honours Degree. A few years after experiencing private clinical work in various practices, Tom went on to study his Masters in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health at University College London (UCL). Tom is very passionate about progressing himself as a physiotherapist and is always keen to further his education. He is currently following in the footsteps of our clinical directors and working towards his postgraduate Musculoskeletal Sonography qualification through the UCL.
Tom’s specialism is Strength and Conditioning, he provides his patients with extensive rehabilitation knowledge, and wants to help all of his patients to get back to what they enjoy without pain.
As well as working at Elite, Tom is the Head Physiotherapist at Aylesbury Rugby Club. Tom is responsible for the conditioning and rehabilitation of all players, as well as any injuries pitch-side at training or matches. In 2018, Tom experienced working with International level athletes first hand at the World Indoor Athletics Championships.
Tom has undertaken postgraduate courses on running rehabilitation.
His experience and knowledge on gait analysis and re-education, especially in runners is an invaluable benefit to the clinic. Tom enjoys sharing his knowledge, he often leads the team in-service training. More recently, he has been Honorary Lecturer at University College London (UCL), where he led sessions for the BSci sports medicine students.
