Resistance Training is a form of exercise that is designed to improve muscular fitness by working a muscle or muscle group against external resistance. This includes Free Weights, Dumbells, Machines, Medicine Balls and Body Weight.

🤷🏼‍♀️ So WHY resistance training? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Well stay tuned and we will be sharing the fundamental reasons why everyone should partake in some form of resistance training.

Number #1 reason being : It is safe and effect for women and men of ALL AGES including those not in perfect health. Individuals with chronic illness often benefit the most from an exercise programme that includes 2-3 weight lifting sessions a week.
